But please, add simple mute button. Also, IMO it would be better if the Mayor won't stop before Police, it would add tension to his movement and haste. Also for tension you could add some firefighters, so we would actually need to stop the mayor sometimes.

I agree the sound is annoying, I'll need to add some volume controls and variations of the siren.
